About the artist
Axel Heintz is born 1959 in a family of glassblowers who work at the torch since five generations.Axel and his brother Jürgen work as lampwork artists since 30 years now.They exhibited,tought,performed and worked in Germany and in
many countries worldwide.
Axel Heintz,geb 1959 in einer Glasbläserfamilie,die seit fünf Generationen vor der Lampe arbeitet.Seit über 30 Jahren arbeiten Axel Heintz und sein Bruder Jürgen als Glaskünstler,Lehrer und Aussteller in Deutschland und vielen anderen Ländern weltweit.
The Gallery Die Galerie
The gallery exists since 1983 and is located in a historical building in the center of the middle age town of Staufen.We have A showroom and a full equiped glass blowing studio with two rooms.With its middle age ambiente Staufen is known because of its many culturell,high quality events and atracts visitorswho are interested in arts.Between vine yards and green hills Staufen lays at the foot of the black forest near Freiburgin the very south west corner of Germany at the frontier to France and Switzerland.
Die Galerie existiert seit 1983 und liegt in einem historischen Gebaeude im Zentrum
der mittelalterlichen Stadt Staufen.Wir haben einen Ausstellungsraum und zwei
Nebenraume mit voll ausgerüsteten Arbeitsplätzen.Mit seinem mittelalterlichen
Ambiente ist das Staedtchen Staufen weithin bekannt für seine vielfältigen,
kulturell hochwertigen Veranstaltungen und zieht auch Kunstinteresierte Besucher
an.Zwischen Weingaerten und grünen Huegeln und Feldern liegt Staufen am Fusse
des suedlichen Schwarzwaldes im Dreilaendereck Deutschland-Schweiz-Frankreich
